Review:
This work is confusing and it is exactly that purpose.
Like our current reality in which the fantasy, the fictitious, the virtual took over, subduing the truth, this is the intention we seek for the work: to show that everything can be true, everything can be a lie, everything can even be a great and terrible, devastating illusion. Today we cannot believe anything we hear or even what we see without investigating very carefully. Everything could be a lie! Everything can be manipulated several times to the point of having no connection with the real situation. All because of an intention of bad taste and evil, an intention of simply distorting the truth and putting it on the internet to mess with minds.
When we look at the work we see a clown with a scared, terrifying and terrified look; Then we have the bear who, in an act of bravado or irreverence, shows his ass to tell us about his indifference; Finally, we have a white flag symbolizing the will, the desire, for peace. However, the work as a whole is confusing and difficult to interpret. Built like this for this purpose. Some will feel offended, others will laugh. Most will see an intention in representing our disconnected reality. But it is in the phrase used as a background that the closing occurs: "Oops!! Forget it, it's a joke. Sorry."
This is what we see nowadays in our daily lives, in all sectors of society. It's as if we were lost, confused, trying to find ourselves in a new reality. The truth is that we need to relearn how to deal with our own existence, today directly linked to cyber issues. And it's good if we're really looking to reconnect, because the impression is that we're lost, it can be while.
Note: The value per square meter of Ivaan Hansen's work is R$15,000.
